Congratulations to all Irish Times Irish Theatre Awards Winners
The Abbey Theatre congratulates all of the winners and nominees in the Irish Times Irish Theatre Awards 2011.
We are really pleased with the Abbey Theatre’s award-winners, including:
- Laurence Kinlan for Best Supporting Actor, in his role as Mossy Lannigan in Christ Deliver Us!, written by Thomas Kilroy and directed by Wayne Jordan.
- B for Baby for Best New Play, written by Carmel Winters and directed by Mikel Murfi.
- Joan Bergin for Best Designer: Costume, for the costumes of John Gabriel Borkman, written by Henrik Ibsen in a new version by Frank McGuinness.
A great night was had by all. Thank you to The Irish Times and the judges.
