Take Your Seat is a week-long initiative that gives you a chance to see something new or catch that ‘must see show’ at a discounted rate.
This November, the Abbey will join with Take Your Seat to offer you great ticket discounts on some of our most eagerly anticipated upcoming productions.
To avail of these special offers simply book a ticket for performances of Terminus by Mark O’Rowe or Ages of the Moon by Sam Shepard between 10 and 14 November.
Next, register your details online with Take Your Seat. You’ll then receive a unique promotional code which allows you to book a half-price ticket for selected performances of The Seafarer by Conor McPherson or the world premiere of Christ Deliver Us! by Thomas Kilroy.
How to claim your Take Your Seat tickets:
1. Contact our Box Office either by phone, email or in person.
2. Quote your name and unique Take Your Seat code. You may also be asked to present valid ID.
3. Our Box Office staff will verify that you bought tickets for performances of Terminus or Ages of the Moon between 10 and 14 November.
4. You will then be offered your half-price ticket(s) for The Seafarer (Saturday matinees, 12 or 19 December) or Christ Deliver Us! (Tuesday 9 – Monday 15 February).
Note: Half-price tickets are limited to two per transaction

I love the Abbey. Its a wonderful theatre. Its recent resurgence has been nothing short of inspirational.
The new website, however, is an utter mess. It is difficult to navigate and very unclear. While there has been some very welcome changes in content, the old one by comparison was entirely more useable.
