Thomas Kilroy’s new play Christ Deliver Us! is now previewing. You can see it for only a tenner!
Director Wayne Jordan, who makes his Abbey stage debut with this world premiere, has put together a stunning production complete with a 25 strong cast, downpours of rain and even a live game of hurling onstage. Tender, funny, poignant, and startling in its topicality, Christ Deliver Us! tells the story of three adolescents struggling to grow up in the restrictive milieu of 1950s Ireland.
